Omada [Ομάδα] is Greek for team and just as we work hard on developing the effectiveness of our client teams, so do we also work hard on developing the effectiveness of our own team.  We’re a niche provider and growing enterprise led by a core team of Chartered Psychologists with established reputations in their areas of specialism.  Our broader team comprises organisational and clinical psychologists, executive coaches, communication and impact specialists, organisational design practitioners, and c-suite advisers.

Most importantly to our clients, our combined strengths ensure the application of rigorous psychological methodology with deep commercial expertise. We place a clear emphasis on understanding the business and strategic context in which we are operating. We know what running a business is about.

Grant Morffew

Grant founded Omada Consulting in 2003, his passion being to see psychology making an outstanding difference to the results executives achieve and the way they lead their organisations, their people and the communities in which they serve.

He has worked globally in a number of sectors and disciplines, each varying markedly in terms of their structure, governance and maturity. His more recent work has included the development of the C-suite team plus numerous other executive and regional leadership teams at one of the world’s largest precious metal mining organisations, as part of a major cultural transformation programme across five continents. This work also formed the basis of a longitudinal study on team effectiveness with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Prior to establishing Omada, Grant worked as Managing Consultant for a niche executive assessment and development business and latterly for a global management consulting company, with responsibility for the firm’s Strategic Alignment and Leadership Development initiatives in EMEA.


Nana-Efua Lawson

As a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Organisation Development specialist, Nana has worked in a range of senior roles with leaders from diverse organisations and industries, and has lived and worked across varying cultures throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Nana began her career in roles with Ford and then Standard Chartered Bank – the £34 billion consumer and wholesale bank – before shifting to consulting to enable her to apply her skills to a broader industry base.  She has since worked with leaders and teams across a range of sectors including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Care Homes, Pharmaceuticals, Resources and Government.

With a background in assessment and development, Nana has designed and delivered leadership development centres for a range of high profile clients but now focuses most of her time on working with teams and functions to align them to their strategy and culture.  She also likes to design and facilitate larger group interventions such as extended leadership meetings.

Graham Mitchell

Graham is a specialist in workplace motivation with experience of designing and implementing ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ people strategies and performance management structures, aligning them to the delivery of key organisational aims.

He also has extensive 1-2-1 coaching experience, working with individuals up to and including Board and senior leadership team level. Whether through an on-going programme or short, ‘skill’ specific initiatives he has a proven track record in personal performance and development work.

A business psychologist with a Masters in Organisational Psychology & Behaviour from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a former Director of People & Performance with a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Company, Graham is an experienced People Management professional.

Stuart Pidgeon

Stuart is a leadership and organisational development consultant and executive coach, supporting individuals, teams and organisations to implement sustainable development and change.  Over the course of a 30 year career, he held a number of leadership positions in the oil and gas industry before focusing on a consultancy career, giving him a unique combination of practical engineering experience and a deep understanding of leadership and organisational development.

He typically works with senior leaders in multi-national organisations, and recent assignments include a global change initiative for a major oil company, personal transition coaching for leaders in a global pharmaceutical company, change consultancy to a new energy company after a spin-off from a multi-national, and leadership team coaching for the country MD of a multi-national energy company. He also serves as senior leadership faculty for one of the big four global consulting firms.  Stuart holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Organisation Consulting.


Gemma Thomas

Gemma is at the heart of the Omada team, coordinating all aspects of our operations.  She is responsible for our client liaison, and developing the Omada offering across the range of services we provide, as well as overseeing  all our outputs and internal systems.   Gemma also ensures all members of the Omada team are in the right place at the right time, and with the necessary resources at their disposal.

Gemma previously worked in assessment and development for a global executive search firm, and she has over a decade of experience working with clients across a range of sectors including professional services, higher education, arts organisations, government and the third sector. Gemma has a BA from Durham University, and an MA from Birkbeck College, University of London.


Kate Williams

Kate has practiced as a Chartered Occupational Psychologist for nearly 20 years.  She completed her Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London after gaining a degree in Applied Psychology at Cardiff University.  Starting her career at Ashridge Management College, she came to Omada via two leading business psychology consultancies developing her specialism in so doing in the assessment and development of leaders, managers, teams and organisations.

Kate has worked with senior leaders and teams in a number of world-class organisations internationally and across a range of sectors including leisure, finance, engineering, manufacturing, oil and gas, media, retail and pharmaceutical; she also provides management development expertise and executive coaching for senior civil servants in several government departments.  Recent Omada projects have included the long term development of a regional leadership team in the resources sector, and the development of an executive group leading a joint venture in Guinea.


Janie van Hool

Janie specialises in helping individuals develop the skills and techniques integral to projecting confidence, clarity and personal presence, primarily through team development and executive development initiatives.  A RADA trained actress and also a regular guest tutor on ‘Voice and Speech’ and ‘Vocal Interpretation’ at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she works with senior executives to develop presentational style, negotiation methodologies and high impact leadership capabilities.  She is also often deployed to work with executives on the development of critical speeches, key messaging and delivery.

Janie works across all sectors, her work most recently focusing on the development of senior executives in software development houses, investment banking, retail, engineering and mining companies, as well as multiple assignments with both the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Home Office.  She has an MSc in Performance Psychology and an MA in Voice.
